What Akyn is

Akynis a platform that connects fitness coaches, dieticians and trainers ("coaches") with the people who follow their programs ("clients"). Coaches build programs, sell them through a link and track their clients. Clients follow the program one day at a time and message their coach.

We provide the tools. Coaches create the programs and are responsible for them. We do not write, check or endorse program content, and we are not a party to the coaching relationship.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure and use one account per person. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us at help@akyn.fit if you think someone else is using it.

Not medical advice

Akyn and the programs on it are for general fitness and nutrition. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and neither we nor coaches on Akyn act as your doctor.

• Talk to a doctor before starting any exercise or diet program, especially if you are pregnant, injured or have a medical condition.
• Stop and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
• Results vary from person to person. Nobody can promise a specific outcome.
• In an emergency, call 112.

You follow any program at your own risk.

If you are a coach

• You are responsible for your programs: their content, their safety, any claims you make, and any qualification or registration the law requires for the advice you give.
• Do not give medical treatment or promise medical results through Akyn.
• You own your programs. You give us permission to host, display and deliver them to your clients, and to show them on your program pages, for as long as they are on Akyn.
• You set your program's price and your refund policy. We keep a platform fee (the rate shown in your coach dashboard at the time of the sale) and pay you the rest on the payout schedule we share with you.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
• Treat client data only as our privacy policy allows, and only to coach them.

Payments

Programs bought on our website are paid through Razorpay. Prices are in Indian rupees and shown before you pay. Razorpay handles your card, UPI or bank details. We never see or store them. If a program is ever sold as an in-app purchase, the app store's own terms apply to that purchase.

Refunds

Refunds follow the coach's refund policy for that program. Where a coach has not set one, all sales are final, except where the program was not delivered as described or where the law requires a refund. To ask for a refund, write to help@akyn.fit with your email and the program name. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay.

Fair use

Do not use Akyn to:

• break the law, or harass, threaten or mislead anyone;
• upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is harmful or explicit;
• copy, resell or share programs you did not create;
• scrape, reverse engineer, overload or try to break into Akyn;
• send spam through chat.

Your content and ours

You own what you post: your logs, messages and uploads. You give us permission to store and show it as needed to run Akyn. The Akyn name, logo, apps and website belong to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Ending your account

You can stop using Akyn and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us. Sections on medical advice, payments already made, content, liability and governing law keep applying after an account ends.

Our liability

We work to keep Akyn running and your data safe, but we provide it as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent Indian law allows:

• we are not responsible for program content, coach advice, or any injury or loss from following a program;
• we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data;
• our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid through Akyn in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits a liability that Indian law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Akyn after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts at Mumbai. Please write to us first: most problems are solved faster by email.
